Madhuri dixit on her men |
I feel being a single woman is tough, very tough. Surviving on your own steam is no joke. No one is super human. A man and a woman need each other. After all, how do you deal with loneliness and old age single-handedly?
The man I'm looking for should be someone I'd like to spend the rest of my life with. My sisters have been looking for a groom for me for quite some time now.
Every time they spot an eligible bachelor they nudge me. I've met some of the guys, actually.
Generally when we meet, the guy as well as I freeze. We're forced into conversations and it all sounds so put-on and polite. I believe it's possible for a man and a woman to be on an equal footing. I'm not a feminist. But I know there are good guys and bad guys. For every bad guy there are ten good guys.
Okay, there are lots of atrocities committed upon women. Men can be unbelievably abusive. Yet, at the same time, one cannot generalise and say that all men are monsters.
Having said that I still feel that every woman should be financially independent. If she's okay moneywise, then she doesn't need to take nonsense from any man.
